(AP) A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to having sex and impregnating a then 9-year-old girl.William Edward Ronca, 26, was arrested last year after doctors discovered the girl was at least seven months pregnant.Ronca pleaded guilty Tuesday and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He will have to serve more than 21 years before he is eligible for parole. The judge gave him five years less than the maximum because he admitted to the crime and apologized to the girl's family.Ronca had been having sex with the girl for about a year, and told her not to tell anyone, according to arrest warrants.The girl had the baby, which was put up for adoption.
