Okay ya'll. Here's what I just heard on the radio.
Aretha Franklin is getting married. She was in NYC over the weekend shopping for a wedding gown. Hmmm.....I wonder how she got to NYC because she has a serious fear of flying.
Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons could be in for messy divorce proceedings. It turns out that Kimora wants to live in a 20,000 square foot apartment on the Upper East Side and she wants Russell to pay for it. He doesn't want to pay all of that money (in the millions) for that apartment. I personally don't blame him. I know it's nice to be right in the heart of NYC but that's a bit costly for an apartment. It's a huge apartment too. Maybe it's a penthouse of some kind and Flo just called it an apartment. Oh well, if I hear more, I'll post it.
Finally, everyone knows about Stevie's birthday bash over in the Bahamas this past weekend. Well, according to Daily News, Star Jones and her hubby Al crashed the party. i.e., they weren't invited and showed up anyway. I guess they heard some folks talking about it last weekend at Derby. Anywhoo...there was a 70s party going on and the Village People performed. Ya'll know them.....Y.M.C.A fame. Natalie Cole was one of the guests as well, and word is she was there with some young tender thang. I could've sworn she married a preacher a couple of years back. Don't tell me that marriage failed also. She's been married about 3 or 4 times already. Many A-listers were in the house for this bash. To name a few, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Tyrese, Kanye West, Babyface, and the list goes on and on. Happy 67th birthday to Stevie Wonder.
Shit, I wouldn't want to pay for that apartment either! She ain't broke! Stevie Wonder is 67! For real?? I thought he was much younger than that or maybe just making 60. But its good to see that he is healthy and well.
kimora aint broke she could pay the whole thing shit...happy belated to stevie and i wonder when miss aretha's wedding is
My thoughts exactly. BabyPhat is far from bankrupcy, so she's good. If it's all about Russell providing for his kids then let him take care of them the same as he has been doing since they were born. Paying millions of dollars for a home doesn't signify that he's taking care of them because they still have to eat, and they still need a great education among other things.
