Did anyone catch this documentary on MTV earlier tonight? It came on at 10PM. I stumbled upon this show while watching the Run's House marathon. You know, you never know what people are going through in their lives. The show takes you into the personal world of Mario and how he's struggling to deal with his Mom's addiction to heroin. She was an addict for 22-23 years, and she had been to treatment centers before, but Mario did some research on interventions and was able to get his Mom in a treatment center out in Malibu, CA. The show was so powerful and in-your-face. There was a segment where his Mom asked him for $50 so she could go out and get a fix. The cameras were rolling as she drove to her spot where she normally buys the drugs, then went back to the house and did her business in the bathroom while he was standing there in the living area. This all happened before she boarded the plane to go to the center in Malibu. My heart went out to both Mario and his Mom because this is a serious disease that not only affects the addict, but the people around them that love them.
If you saw the show, what are your thoughts on it?
I watched the documentary also. That's a hard thing to deal with period, let alone with the career that Mario has. I was surprised that she agreed to go to the treatment center but it was good that she went. Hopefully she can stay clean and be there for her son like she really should.
I saw it it was so sad. That was some real stuff for your ass. You wouldn't really know what people go through. I felt so sorry for him I am so gald he got his mom some help. When I saw him cry I thought I was going to pass out well I hope they are doing okay now and god bless them.
