Rapper the Game has begun his 60-day jail term for weapons charges after he turned himself into Los Angeles authorities on Sunday night.
The star, real name Jayceon Taylor, was handed the sentence last month after he plead guilty to felony gun charges.
He faced three counts of making criminal threats and possessing a firearm in a school zone during a fight in the middle of a basketball game last year. Two charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement.
The Game left it until minutes before midnight -- just before the March 3 deadline -- to check into the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in California to serve his time behind bars.
He will also be placed on three years probation and must also complete 150 hours of community service after his release as per the terms of his plea deal.
This knee-grow can't even chill in the hood without something poppin' off. SMDH. I didn't even know he had gotten arrested for this. The last thing I heard about him was that he was pondering "retirement" from the rap game. How the hell do you "retire" after maybe 3 years (where people began to recognize you, anyway) in the game?
