WINDERMERE, Fla. (Aug. 14) - The wife of Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O'Neal says the couple's marriage is on the mend.

Shaunie O'Neal says she and her husband plan to put a stop their divorce proceedings before leaving Florida next week. She said Thursday that "it will be officially off in a few days."

Shaquille O'Neal filed for divorce in Miami-Dade Circuit Court last September, after nearly five years of marriage. The couple has six children. Shaquille and Shaunie O'Neal had four together, and each had one other before their wedding in 2002.
Shaunie O'Neal spoke with The Associated Press a month before the debut of her latest venture, a video-sharing Web site geared to feature child performers. The site, mykidzastar.com, will formally launch Sept. 1

I'm happy they're putting a stop on the divorce.. They're a cute couple.. I hope everything works out for them!

I'm so glad you posted this article. I read about it earlier today and like you, I'm glad to see them giving their marriage another chance. The article I read quoted a statement from Shaunie saying that she found out about the divorce when the kids found out last September, and that's what hurt the most. But once again, I'm glad they're finding their way back to each other. I'm all for black love and they are such a cute couple.
