I saw this movie last night and I thought it was really good. It was much better than what I had inticipated because I had no plans of going to see it. But my sister asked me to go, so I tagged along. I must say that I like TD Jakes's movies MUCH better than Tyler Perry's. I'm just sick of Tyler Perry. PERIOD! TD Jakes's movies are more meaningful and not "so over the top that it's sickening", like Tyler's movies be. I do want to see "The Family That Preys" though because everyone said it was good and it had absolutely nothing to do with anyone of those plays of his. It comes out this coming Tuesday (13 Jan 09) if anyone wants to purchase it.
I went yesterday and watched it and I thought it was good...I wanna watch The Family That Preys and I think the new movie of his that's coming out looks good too..
I went and saw this movie. It was pretty good. Morris Chesnut was looking so good in it! But I love The Family That Preys as well. I Have to go buy the dvd!
