Tyra Banks has announced that the fifth season of her show will be the last season of her show.

That means no more episodes of Tyra dressing up in a fat suit. No more episodes where Tyra makes us squirm with discussions of bodily functions and weirdness that we really don't want to think about (let alone yet). And those are just the two episodes that I've seen. I'm sure you have your own memories of things that happened on the show.

Banks says that she will now focus more on her movie production company Bankable Films. She says she will continue to do things that will keep women and girls "fierce." Whatever that means. (Didn't someone on Project Runway say that?) You'll also get to see Banks on other shows, including The CW's America's Next Top Model and ABC's True Beauty.

I've watched a couple of episodes here and there, and the ones I've seen weren't as weird as the ones mentioned above.  I can say that Tyra is one flighty female.  She seems to be so clueless about a lot of simple things, and I think that's what makes her show seem sooo....lame in some ways.  Anywhoo, I am surprised to read this as I thought she would hang in there a little bit longer.  Oh well, I guess it wasn't in the cards.  Much success to her with her movie production company, and all of her future projects.
