According to reports, Gibert's Washington Wizards teammate Javaris Crittenton approached him about a gambling debt and when Gil refused to pay up, Javaris got heated. He got in Gil's face screaming, "I'm not your punk!" then Gil pulled a gun on him. Javaris pulled his gun in defense.
Sounds a little fishy. I mean, did Gil pull his gun and then Jarvaris ran and got his gun or did Javaris already have his gun when he got in Gil's face? Whoever drew first, they both had guns in the locker room and pulled them on each other.
Now Gilbert is under investigation by the Metropolitan Police for gun-possession violations and because of the gambling aspect, the Fed is getting involved.
I swear there are some straight up idiots in the sports world. WTF is up with them drawing guns on one another?! I thought Gilbert "turned in" his guns to security. What is really goings on in the locker rooms around the league? Guns, gambling debts, players sleeping with other players' wives and girlfriends, etc. SMDH. Everybody with a lil money in their pocket wanna go to jail. Simple is as simple does.
