The real question is 'why did I waste my time watching it?' That movie was so lame and I'm glad I waited to order it through Netflix instead. Tyler Perry has no sense of creativity whatsoever, and the result of it is a bunch of whack a$$ movies and plays. It's like he's obsessed with family drama or something. Everything he's done has the same exact plot with different characters and it's well past time for him to move on to something else. His writing is horrible and I'm really surprised at how people continue to laugh and giggle at the same...exact...thing every...single...play...or...movie. There was no need for that movie at all and I HOPE he isn't going to come back with another sequel because he left it wide open at the end.
Was this movie rated as a comedy? There wasn't any comedy in it, eventhough Tyler Perry's character continuously laughed every time he opened his mouth to speak. It would have been a better movie as a drama IF he knew how to write it.
Overall, I give it two thumbs down for horrible writing and a horrible movie.
I haven't seen it since it came out in theater but I thought it was ok. I was not happy with the ending though. I thought that was unneccesary. Angela was hilarious as usual though! Tasha Smith plays that character a little too well LOL!
