Iverson purchased the 10,445 square foot home in 2008 for $3,875,000 during his tenure with the Denver Nuggets.
The property includes an extensive security system, gourmet kitchen, safe room, open media area, wine room, seven gas fireplaces, outdoor play area, and lake views.
He first listed the homeforsale in April 2009 for $3,750,000 — nearly $1 million less than the last recorded listing price.
A buyer is expected to close on the property in early April for a price that “was close” to the current asking price of $2.85 million.
Still, Iverson is responsible for attorney fees, foreclosure costs, and default interest.
Wowsers! That's a beautiful home! I think I like this one better than the one up in Villanova and that's a nice house too! This one is sitting on the lake though. It doesn't get any better than that! What a view! I would LOVE to visit that house during one of Denver's winter seasons. I can only imagine how gorgeous the view would be. Look at the mountains in the back. Wow. I'm jealous, lol.
AI is probably in so much debt fooling with these homes but I really don't believe he's broke. Not yet, anyway. I read on a blog earlier, if not the web site above, that he was seen in Atlanta pushing a new Lamborghini recently, in addition to the Bentley and one other vehicle that I can't remember so no, he hasn't blown through that money. And truth be told, I can't see Tawanna letting him send them down the drain like that. Shoooot, they got five kids to feed. He can't be that ignorant.
Damn life in Denver was the shit wasn't it LOL! I know they were HOT when he got traded. I liked the house in Villanova as well but that lake takes the cake for this one. I love the kitchen. Very nice!! I don't think that fool is broke either. I think he let this one go into foreclosure because he didn't want to pay the rest of the mortguage which was over $2 million if I'm not wrong since they had to move. Tawanna has nice taste in houses that's for sure.
