Allen Iverson's Estranged Wife He's Buying Diamonds ... And I Can't Pay Rent!

Allen Iverson's divorce has taken a nasty turn -- according to his estranged wife, the former NBA star went on a massive spending spree after she filed for divorce, leaving her completely penniless.

Tawanna just filed new docs in their bitter divorce battle -- claiming ever since she filed for divorce in June, Allen stopped depositing money in their joint bank account ... and then made several large cash withdrawals, including one for $20,000 ... which he spent on diamond jewelry.

Tawanna claims the account was $23,000 in the red at the time she filed the court docs -- and she's been unable to pay the bills ... or provide for their 5 kids.

According to Tawanna -- who says she gave up her career to be a stay-at-home mom -- Allen is worth over $20 million ... and refuses to help her out simply out of spite.

Allen denies Tawanna's allegations in the docs -- and since they're at a stalemate ... the judge will have to play peacemaker.  So far, no hearing date has been set.

HELL NAHHH THIS NEGRO IS NOT TRYING TO SPEND UP THE MONEY BEFORE THE DIVORCE IS FINAL SO SHE'LL END UP ASSED OUT WHEN THE TIME COMES FOR HER TO RECEIVE HER ALIMONY PAYMENTS!!!!

SMH this is getting UGLY!!!!  Damn Bubba Chuck, you're that bitter that you're willing to make your kids suffer because of your soon-to-be-ex-wife???  First of all, as long as these two have been together, and all of the shit she's had to deal with since he's been in the league, they shouldn't even be carrying it like this!  It isn't about neither one of them, it's the kids! He knows damn well he was the sole provider for his family (and friends...but I digress), so it's a no-brainer that Tawanna can't afford to live in the house (or perhaps anywhere for that matter) without his financial assistance.  Hell, he set it up that way!

And I'm not letting Tawanna off the hook that easily either because she should've put a plan of action together so that she could be better prepared just in case he tried some crap like this.  And come on ya'll, we all know AI could be a grimy dude, so you know SHE knows! Where is your stash girl!  I know you got something hidden somewhere! A nice lil rainy day fund, a sugar daddy, baller....something?huh

And is everyone else wondering why she's JUST NOW saying something about him not depositing money into the account if it's been going on since June?  Tawanna, I have to give you the side-eye on that one, because although it may take a year before a home goes into foreclosure, you still have the bills to pay. Are you saying that you and the kids have been living in the dark with no water, heat or AC since June???  If so, then you need your ass whooped just as much as he does!  You also get the side-eye for saying that you put your "career" to the side....  unsureunsureunsure Chile....what career?  0_o

SMH I'm still amazed at how this woman has lasted this long with this man and NEVER had her own hustle.  #wheredeydodatat  I mean, I know she's taking care of five kids, but hell, she could've hired a management team to run the business! Look at Jennifer Williams's dizzy behind! The broad is selling lip gloss! And Evelyn Lozada just signed a book deal with Cash Money Books! **throws my hands up** Come on now T!  Really doe??? That's so disappointing.

It's hard for me to believe that she and the kids have been living broke since June. She's been paying bills somehow. I was really hoping that the divorce wouldn't turn ugly for the sake of the kids, but of course, AI had to show his ass because he's butt-hurt. Yes, she left you! And this is her SECOND time filing for divorce. I don't know what more he could ask from Tawanna after 5 kids and being with him all those years. Having chicks running after him consistently doesn't seem to matter anymore now that Tawanna is gone. WAMP!

I don't see anything wrong with her being a stay-at-home mother. If she didn't go out and start business ventures, so be it. Maybe she had planned to wait for the kids to get older. I think she was happy being dedicated to the kids and him and I think she had and probably still does have some ambitions. We all know....them kids need her and them being taken care of is accredited to her because the stability of their father and his side of the family is sometimes questionable. She gave up a career to be at home. However, I don't think I would have felt secure when deciding to file for divorce if I was dependent on him. Because then you run into situations like this when you knew sooner or later, AI was gon be AI.

I know she was smart enough to put her name on their property. I would hope that she has made other smart decisions for the sake of her and the kids. Otherwise, this is a real wake up call. I don't think this filing is telling the whole story though and we have yet to see what AI filed in order to deny her claims. She better get her ducks in a row!

I agree it was a smart move, but when a lot of the property is in foreclosure or just sitting around empty and losing value, it that could be very problematic and affect her negatively in the future.  They can't even sell half of the homes they own.  There are at least three of them in the Philadelphia area alone.  SMH it's mind-boggling.  I can't imagine the restless nights she's going through dealing with his behind.
