Looks like it’s case closed just one week after the violent Thanksgiving brawl at Halle Berry’s home between her ex Gabriel Aubrey and her fiance Olivier Martinez hit the news. According to TMZ: Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry have reached a truce. Halle’s attorney Blair Berk walked into the hallway outside court, and held up a piece of paper with this handwritten message: “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.“
That still leaves the matter of who will break their silence first with a TV interview unless, of course, hush money was part of the settlement…

Stories like this just make me shake my head. Here you have two men, on Thanksgiving, straight brawling over some BS that none of us will probably ever hear the real story about. It's like everyone forgets about little Nahla and just go for self. I must say that I'm still amazed that throughout this past week, after the fight and Gabriel taking a trip to the hospital, and avoiding jail time, Miss Halle has yet to say ANYTHING about it. I know this isn't in her character, but damn. You got two men fighting on your doorstep. And Aubrey had NO IDEA who he was messing with. I read that Olivier comes from a long list of boxers in his family so he never had a chance smh.
And speaking of Olivier, how long have he and Halle been engaged? Is there a wedding date set up? Questions, questions.
I saw the pictures of Gabriel and it looked like Oliver just wouldn't stop. I mean after a while, one of them should have stopped because obviously Gabriel (who I feel bad for because he is a model and his face is all jacked up) was getting his behind whooped. Seems like there was so much tension that it finally just exploded for the both of them. Not that that is an excuse for their behavior. Poor Nahla, and I am sorry to say this because I hope that the little girl is doing well but it looks she will be in therapy in the future or in need. Just too much drama.
Oh and let me add, I like Halle and I don't like the stigma around her in regards to relationships because she is just like any other woman. Just because she is beautiful and is a successful actress doesn't make her different and/or less prone to having issues. With that being said, I've always given her the benefit of the doubt but it really showed me something when she tried to move overseas with Nahla to be with Oliver. Thus taking the girl away from her father. Who does that? Is Gab a bad father? Because if he isn't then I think that was very selfish and innappropriate seeing as how you have man willing to father his child when so many don't have that. And just because you have moved on to the next doesn't mean she shouldn't be close to her father. Just my observation.

^^This right here is what is SO mind-boggling to me also! I just couldn't imagine taking my child away from their Dad, especially if he's a GREAT Dad! Maybe it's because I'm a Daddy's girl, but I too believe that was very selfish of Halle and I was so glad to hear that she lost that case. Come on now. You're going to take your baby out of the country and away from her father like that? That's just mean. For real! But you know what? I don't believe Halle grew up with her father and that may be why having Gabriel in Nahla's life may not seem important to her. It's really sad no matter how you look at it.
I still say to this day that I'm quite surprised that Gabriel stayed around in Halle's life much longer than I anticipated once Nahla was born, and I say this because Halle gave an interview after her divorce from Eric Benet (I believe it was with Oprah) and she made it clear that she was not getting married again and that she wanted a baby. She even said that she would find someone that would agree to have the baby with her and afterwards, she didn't need him to stick around. Now, those weren't her exact words, but that's pretty much what she said.
I hope Gabriel's face clears up because like you said, he is a model and that is that man's bread and butter.
