A double amputee from Detroit, Michigan is calling for his fellow disabled Americans to boycott JAMIE FOXX's films and CDs after claiming the Dreamgirls star stole his tune. Funding has prompted Michael A. Johnson to rethink his legal battle with Foxx over the Oscar winner's song Heaven, which he claims is a rewritten version of his One of God's Angels is A.W.O.L.
And now he's calling on the disabled to help him win a moral victory. Johnson says, "The powers that be have reviewed the songs and agreed with me that the songs Heaven and One of God's Angels is A.W.O.L. are one and the same - his is just a rearranged version. "So I am organising a boycott by disabled Americans starting in Detroit, which will spread nationwide. I'm hoping all the agencies that stand for the rights of disabled people will join me. "Jamie Foxx's record label, Sony BMG, will be included in this boycott... for allowing this injustice to go on.
Um..............hmmm. Don't really know what to say about this one. I.....pretty much feel the same about this as I did with Fantasia's Dad and his "suit" against those who had anything to do with her movie EXCEPT his daughter. The only difference this time around for me is that I'ma keep quiet and respect those who are disabled.
