Alright ya'll! The season has officially started! Tip-Off for the new year begins in a matter of minutes! So many changes have occured during the off-season. I'm looking at the NBA Kick-off show as I type, and I had NO idea that so many people had been traded. Derek Fisher is back in LA as a Laker. He did it so he could be closer to specialists that could possibly help his baby girl. Jason Richardson is now in Charlotte. Grant Hill is in Phoenix. Who in the HAYLE knew that Stevie Franchise was back in Houston?! No wonder I've been hearing that T-Mac has been smiling lately! Mike James, formerly of the Raptors, is in Houston too! Penny Hardaway is back! He's down in Miami with Dwyane Wade and Shaq. Then of course, the big, big deal of all deals is Boston having a big three now, which includes Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. And this is just the beginning.
I think the NBA conferences are pretty evened out right now so it should be a very interesting season. I ain't looking for the Cavs to do a damn thing this year. LeBron ain't got no help and he can't do it all. I think they've had their moment to shine and they didn't take advantage of it to win the championship.
Some say to look out for the Knicks, some say the Nets or Bulls. Whatever the case, it's about to be a great season that kicks....off....right....NOW!
