Hollywood power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z have picked up their marriage license and have 60 days to get married, celebrity website People.com has reported.

People quoted a source as saying the pair obtained a license on Tuesday morning, which is valid for 60 days.

A spokesperson for Beyonce had no comment to make, while Jay-Z's reps couldn't be contacted.

Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002, and rumours about an impending marriage have been circulating for months.

Beyonce is one of the world's biggest pop stars, while Jay-Z has been hip-hop's biggest voice for more than a decade.

Well, People Magazine leaked the story so there has to be some truth to it. It's all over the Net too. I must say though, that it's a damn shame that they can't even go and acquire a marriage license without someone leaking the story, or paparazzi (sp) snapping pictures.  BUT...that's the price you pay when you live in the spotlight. I hope everything works out for them in the long run.
