Today would've been her 30th birthday. It has been a little over 7 years since her tragic death, and she is very much missed by most, if not all.
This post is my tribute to her. Starting with my favorite Aaliyah video.

I can't say that I've had a favorite song, but "Back and Forth" is def. at the top of the list. It came out during my senior year in high school, and me and my girls were having fun and preparing to graduate and "enter the real world". Life was GREAT for us, and that was our jam! We would be blasting that joint as we rode through the streets of DC.
"I Care for You" was my SHIT too! Still is! Something about that ballad signifies sexy!
"Are You that Somebody"......CLASSIC! I remember the year it was the number one video on BET. I used to wear that song out! Then rumors started flying. I'll never forget when this lady tried to tell me that the baby sound in the background was Aaliyah's baby. As you can see, I'm still rolling my eyes at that fooly-wang!
But anyway, show your love for Aaliyah and keep this post going with your favorite videos and memories of your fun times, first loves, etc., whenever you heard a specific Aaliyah song.
