My mom and I went to see The Soloist on Saturday. Very good movie. I thought it was going to be one of those really emotionally driven movies but it wasn't. I thought I was gonna be leaving the theater boo-whooing. The movie really opens your eyes to the illness of schizophrenia and the lives of homeless people. Good movie and I highly recommend it!! Jamie and Robert Downey Jr did a great job!
I saw it this past Saturday and I thought it was pretty good also. I don't think it's a movie that everybody will "get", for lack of words. I know for a fact that I wouldn't have gone to see it if I hadn't come across a segment of Nathaniel Ayers, Jr. on 60 minutes a while back. I didn't catch the full segment, but the part I saw had my attention. They mentioned that Jamie Foxx was portraying this guy in a movie, but I had no idea it was going to come out a month later. I just wished they would've gone more deeper into his background during his youth. But overall, I give it a B.
