Chris Brown has copped a plea in his assault case.

He'll spend 180 days probation in Virginia which is where Brown lives - it's equivalent to CalTrans or graffiti cleanup.

He gets 5 years probation for FELONY assault. He'll get supervised probation.

He must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.

Story developing...


Rhianna was in the court house as well.  At first, it didn't seem that she was going to show up, but she did.....in all black with black shades.  You can continue to follow this developing story on www.tmz.com.  I'll try and keep you posted as much as possible.

Okay, here's more.


He gets 5 years probation for FELONY assault -- he pled guilty. He'll get supervised probation. He'll have to come back to court every three months.

He must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.

The judge said she wanted to make sure that Chris Brown "was treated as any other person who comes through this court."

If Brown violates probation, he could get up to 4 years in prison.


I'm glad he'll be enrolling in a domestic violence counseling program.  I can't say if he was treated as any "other" person who comes through court.  The "others" must be the celebrities.  rolleyes

Anywhoo, I'm glad this is over.  Hopefully, the MEDIA won't continue to dig their claws into this case.

Okay, this is my last posting on this for a while because TMZ.com is typing as the Judge speaks it seems, LOL.


He's also been ordered to stay 50 yards clear of Rihanna.

This is interesting ... the judge said if Brown and Rihanna are at the same public events, the 50-yard stay away turns into 10 yards. The stay away order last 5 years.


Rihanna is in the courthouse but never entered the courtroom.

So Brown is now a convicted felon and loses the right to vote or carry a gun.



What the hell is 50 yards?!  And if they're at the same event, 50 yards is decreased to 10 yards???  Yeah, she's definitely treating this case like any "other".








^^Okay, after typing the above, CB has left the courtroom and now Rhianna has entered.

Glad that everything is over and they can both move forward.

 

Sidenote: I'm sorry yall but I chuckled a little when I saw the picts of Rihanna in that dress. She was really trying to get the point across with that funeral dress and pearls but her hair and makeup was nice.
