Has anyone watched the premiere episode of this show? It is just TOO much going on. I thought Basketball Wives was some crap, but Football Wives has them beat...so far.
My first problem with this show is that it's based in Dallas so ALL of the wives' husbands play for the Cowboys or live there. I guess that had to happen since there are so many players on a team. But....why Dallas? Why not New York? You got two teams there. And they have some nice-looking guys on both teams.
Anywhoo....there are some truly anal broads on the show. Already a bunch of unnecessary B.S. going on. That Chanita Foster chick looks like a friggin' man! How the hell do you get offended when someone leaves Bible Study at ANOTHER PERSON'S HOME? Amanda Davis didn't say not one word yet she was soooo disturbed when both Pilar and Melani left. I personally wouldn't have gone to Bible Study if I had a previous engagement, but that's just me. And I'm not going to let some manly-looking chick talk to me about my choice to leave when she wasn't the host. I didn't understand the purpose of having all of the ladies meet to discuss Pilar and Melani's choice to leave Bible Study. They should've declined the invitation to lunch simply because it wasn't any of their business. The other lady (can't remember her name, but she's the part-time lawyer) left lunch early but I can't help but wonder if she left because she realized it was some straight up B.S. to attend that function to begin with.
Anyway....half of these chicks' husbands or boyfriends are retired from the league or are on their way out. With the exception of Pilar, I don't know any of those other chicks, but I'm familiar with Melani's husband Raqhiib (sp) Ishmail. If I'm not mistaken, I think he was kicked out of the NFL at some point because he was such a troublemaker, but I know he finished his career in the AFL or UFL. I followed his younger brother Qadry Ishmail since he was at Syracuse, but he retired from the league about 5 or 6 years ago, if not longer. Other than them, I don't know any of those other players. If you're not a QB, Wide Receiver, Running Back or Middle Linebacker (in some cases), then I'm not familiar with you.
One thing I realized from this show is that these men don't make a lot of money. In fact, I think Deion is the richest guy and the white chick Amanda, her husband is next in line. The rest of them are either retired or on their way out, if they aren't gone as of last season.
I'm kind of torn as to whether or not I'm going to waste my time and watch it, but I really think that Chanita and Pilar or Chanita and the part-time lawyer are going to go to blows before it's all said and done.
