Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention. Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter.
I have learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone. Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize — from the bottom of my heart. I love all of my fans, gay and straight. I have friends from all walks of life and I am committed, with God’s help, to continue becoming a better person.
Well...if you haven't heard, Chris Brown sounded OFF on Raz B yesterday (12/29/10) on Twitter AFTER Raz B made a comment about Chris AND Eric Benet and how they beat their ex-lovers (Rihanna and Halle Berry, respectively). Chris immediately responded to Raz B, calling him an attention whore and then proceeding to call him out for saying he (Raz B) was raped, and also calling him Peter Pan. Now I'm the first to admit that that shit was hee-larry-us. Shit, it made my day go by, and that thing was going pretty damn slow. That shit was so funny that I started following Chris Brown. Raz B got what he deserved for running off at the mouth about something that has absolutely nothing to do with him. I don't know if he's fucking Rihanna now or not, but he shouldn't have brought it up.
So no, I don't think he should've sent in an apology (to TMZ of all people). People (stans of CB and Raz-B (don't even ask!)) have taken this shit wayyyyy too seriously and because of it, it got out of control. Even gay people are saying they weren't offended by his comments because they know they weren't directed to the gay and lesbian community. I think he did what any *normal* person would've done, he defended himself.
Raz-B just needs to sit his ass down somewhere before someone does more than kirk out on Twitter. He and his brother ( @RickyRomance ), both need to apologize to Chris if you want to know the truth. Raz B for making such a statement in the first place, and his brother for all of those death threats he tweeted. There was no need for any of that and nobody has said shit about that. I didn't pay this any attention until I read someone's comments on Necole Bitchie's web site, but Raz B is much older than Chris Brown, and he needs to go somewhere and get some theraputic assistance. I don't know what went on when he was with B2K, don't really care either, but it sounds like he needs to go and talk to somebody ASAP instead of making YouTube videos and calling up Marques Houston with these outrageous phone calls (Lord, did ya'll hear that crap? SMH). It's like he's stalking the man.
I don't think Chris should have apologized... Raz B is just looking for attention and him going around saying he was molested wasn't getting him enough, so he went after Chris... If you look at Raz B's timeline before that he was talking about Chris and Eric Benet he tweeted Rihanna like 50 times and she replies to none... I think Raz B needs to accept the fact his career was over when B2K broke up and that by going around telling people he was molested isn't going to help him...
