Hey folks!  I just watched a news segment that talked about Geo Tags on your Smartphones.  You may want to turn this feature off to avoid what is called cyber stalking.  When you upload photos to the Internet from your phone, you can be tracked....in a matter of seconds.  I've seen this feature when using Uber Twitter and I never select it. Never felt the need to let everyone know where I am.  That's on a need-to-know basis.  But, anywhoo.....

Click the link below to get instructions on how to disable this feature on your Smartphone.  They have information for Droids, iPhones, Blackberries and Palm Pre's.  There may be more to choose from, but I stopped scrolling down once I saw Blackberry.

that's creepy.....I sometimes see the option on show your location...but I never select it

My twitter on my blackberry used to update my location and I could never figure out how to turn off my location... thanks for posting this
