Surprise, surprise!

Are you really though? Even if you aren't, it's true, Fantasia Barrino is pregnant!

According to the Daily Mail, Barrino announced her pregnancy in front of a crowd at a charity event in Jacksonville, Florida over the weekend. Barrino said the crowd was the first group of people she decided to publicly tell about her new baby. The singer commented on the fact that for a time, she was worried what people would say about her because of the pregnancy, especially since it's assumed that her former lover, Antwaun Cook is the father, and his affair with Barrino but her in the news. And not in that good news type of way. But she stated that she's decided not to live her life for other people. Go ahead and free yourself, girl! When Barrino was last seen vacationing with Cook sometime last month, that's where pregnancy rumors hit an all-time high. The singer trounced around in a one piece with a noticeably larger stomach and a few pounds packed on her. Her reps denied it though, claiming she was putting on weight to play Mahalia Jackson in an upcoming biopic. Psych!

This will be the second child for the singer. We won't flat out say Cook is the father because you see where assuming gets you (see Lauryn Hill's pregnancy, for example), plus, Barrino hasn't come out yet to say he is or isn't. But we do wish girlfriend all the best of luck with her pregnancy and that she does what she needs to do in order to be happy. Despite what the naysayers may say…

Man please. We ALL know the baby is Antwaun's.  I don't even know why she's trying to make it some big ass mystery.  Who the fuck else is gonna deal with her and all of her drama?  I mean really.  And I don't even know why Fantasia is frontin' like she got some balls because we ALL know her ass is embarrassed! You already had an abortion last year sometime, and you turn your ass around and get pregnant by him AGAIN!  Like, really???? She's fuckin' her damn career up over some dude.  What the hell???? I hope he's laying some platinum ass pipe because she lookin' bout dumb right about now.  Great singer but she got some serious ass issues for real.  She's gonna be a has-been before you know it.  She's already on the path.  We'll be hearing about her again in a negative light in another year or so when dude up and roll out on her for another chick.

And I know her Aunt Bunny is PISSSSSED!!!  I wish they'd bring her show back because I would LOVE to see and hear her reaction when Fantasia broke the news to the family.  Her Mom ain't worth a damn in my opinion so anything she has to say is irrelevant, but I know Aunt Bunny would blow a friggin' gasket!  She was HOT when she heard about Fantasia messing around with Antwaun.

With the success of her last album and with the new pregnancy, I hope she's in a better place than she was when she tried to commit suicide. She's grown, a regular person like everybody else and isn't perfect. We all need a little guidance sometimes and I think she could use some but hey, it is what it is. However it must suck though to go thru anything like this in the public's eye.

She admitted it in court when she was sued by the wife last year. I'm assuming the wife must have known about it in order for the question to be raised.  I mean, why ask such a question unless someone knew it to be true, and important enough to be asked, you know?  I think it happened just before she tried to commit suicide, so I'll say around early summer 2010.  Here's a news article on it:
